Clinical Role

• Emergency Medicine locums coverage with ongoing availability preferred
• Approximately 6-8 shifts per month
• Multiple providers may be accepted
• New graduates welcome
• Approximately 20,000 annual ED visits
• Emergency Medicine provider responds to codes
• Hospitalists handle admissions

November Coverage Needs

• November 3-4: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
• November 8-10: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
• November 11: 6:00 am-6:00 pm
• November 14-17: 11:00 am-11:00 pm
• November 22: 11:00 am-11:00 pm
• November 23: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
• November 24-26: 6:00 am-6:00 pm, 6:00 pm-6:00 am, and/or 11:00 am-11:00 pm
• November 29: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
• November 30: 6:00 am-6:00 pm

Schedule & Coverage

• Day, evening, and night coverage
• Night shifts will likely be consecutive or scheduled in blocks
• Physician may also cover APC shifts:
  • 9:00 am-9:00 pm
  • 11:00 am-11:00 pm

Support & Systems

• Allscripts EMR
• Hospitalist support for admissions

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ABEM strongly preferred
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
