Position: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
EMR: Epic
Start Date: November 25, 2026 (Ongoing into 2027)
Credentialing Timeline: ~90 Days
Schedule & Shift Breakdown
- Immediate Thanksgiving Dates Needed: November 25 – November 27 (3 consecutive Day shifts)
- Shift Times: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (12.5-hour Day shifts)
- Coverage Type: Emergency Department / Urgent Care Shift Coverage (No Night Call)
- Assignment Horizon: Ongoing coverage needs anticipated throughout 2027
Clinical Workload & Facility Infrastructure
- Volume: ~40–60 patients per 24 hours across combined ED/UC setting
- Shift Staffing Model: 1 On-shift Attending Physician working alongside 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) during Day to PM hours
- Onsite Specialty Support: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and a collaborative Hospitalist service
Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine or Primary Care with extensive ED experience
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin State Medical License or active IMLC (Compact) license
- Certifications: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
