Emergency Medicine Physician Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of physician experience in emergency medicine
• Valid, unrestricted physician license appropriate for practice in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, as applicable
• Current certifications required for emergency department practice
• Ability to provide specific availability beginning as early as November 1, 2026
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered emergency care

Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department
• Provide timely care across a broad range of acute and urgent medical conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Perform procedures within the physician's scope of practice and clinical privileges
• Coordinate consultations, admissions, transfers, and follow-up care as clinically indicated
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing, specialty, and support teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
