Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Location: Tennessee
Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Emergency Medicine
Position Summary: Provide comprehensive emergency care and serve as the supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants within an Emergency Medicine department.
Requirements:
Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
Active DEA registration with Tennessee address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, or AOA
ACLS and ATLS
PALS required if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
NRP required for non-ABEM providers
Malpractice coverage of $1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregate required
Case logs from the previous two years and documentation of special procedure training, if applicable
Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required upon initial appointment and every two years thereafter
