Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; 7–14 shifts per month (as documented)

Position Overview

Emergency medicine coverage in a hospital emergency department

Floor codes: yes (hospitalists manage, as documented)

Observation unit: yes (as documented)

Document patient care using Cerner (EMR) with CPOE

Facility / ED Details

Hospital beds: 100; Trauma Level III

ED beds: 22; annual ED volume: 30,000

Patients per hour: 2 (as documented)

Required Qualifications

ABEM required (as documented)

Active Arizona license

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

Typical credentialing time: 90 days; temporary privileges may be available with a clean file (as documented)
