JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred) or BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine per facility requirements
• Licenses: Active FL Medical License, Active DEA with FL address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (as applicable)
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine preferred; case logs required
• Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, Stroke CME, Flu/TB/COVID compliance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients across multiple AdventHealth emergency departments.
• Perform all department-required procedures including intubation, central lines, chest tubes, and conscious sedation.
• Collaborate with APP team and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in cross-credentialing and regional coverage model, rotating among designated facilities as scheduled.
