JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred) or BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Licenses: Active Florida Medical License, Active DEA with Florida address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS as required
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM required; EM residency preferred
• Other Qualifications: Case logs from the past two years, CME documentation, Stroke CME (6 hours within 2 years or 9 hours within 3 years), current Flu, TB, and COVID compliance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical services across multiple AdventHealth facilities within the regional coverage model
• Perform all department-required procedures including intubation, central line placement, suturing, and resuscitation
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and nursing staff to manage patient flow
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols, including stroke and trauma care standards
