REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Broad Emergency Medicine skill set (intubations, central lines, conscious sedation, laceration repairs, etc.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM) preferred. Non-BC providers with 2,500 ED hours in 5 years considered.
• Licenses: Active Arkansas Medical License, DEA with Arkansas address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Arkansas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS required
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, IM, or GS. Prior Emergency Medicine experience required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) as scheduled.
• Manage high patient volume (~40,000 annual ED visits) with support from 24-hour NP/PA coverage.
• Perform a broad range of emergency procedures appropriate for a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with nursing and mid-level providers to ensure efficient patient throughput and quality care.
