JOB REQUIREMENTS
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Georgia address
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (Trauma course accepted in lieu of ATLS)
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: CME/CEU summary or certificates for the past 2 years; Clinical activity/case logs past 2 years; TB screening documentation; Flu vaccination (in season)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions.
- Perform thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications, credentials, and ongoing education.
