JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in EM, FM, IM, or GS
• Licenses: Active TX License, Active TX DEA with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5
• DEA / CDS: Active Texas DEA required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS (if not EM Board Certified)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or related specialty
• Other Qualifications: Two years of case logs and CME/CEU documentation required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage patient treatment plans, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, suturing, and central line placement
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and support personnel to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the Medhost EMR system
