JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in EM, FM, IM, or GS
• Licenses: Active TX Medical License, Active TX DEA with schedules 2-5
• DEA / CDS: Active Texas DEA required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS required if not EM board certified
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or related specialty
• Other Qualifications: Completion of residency training in EM, FM, IM, or GS; two years of case logs and CME/CEU documentation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
• Manage and stabilize acute medical conditions and trauma cases.
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, suturing, and central line placement.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Document patient encounters in Medhost EMR and adhere to hospital protocols.
