JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or ABMS-recognized specialty with 5+ years high-volume ED experience
• Licenses: Active unrestricted Indiana Medical License, Indiana State Controlled Substance, DEA with Indiana address (schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4)
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Indiana address and IN State Controlled Substance
• Certifications: BLS/CPR
• Experience: EM residency graduates within 12 months acceptable, or IM with 5 years continuous full-time high-volume (>30,000 visits/year) ED experience
• Other Qualifications: Documentation of case logs for past 2 years, CME Attestation Form

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in the Emergency Department.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) during their 10-hour shifts.
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.
• Manage patient throughput in a low-volume, high-efficiency ED environment.
• Collaborate with specialty backup and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
