JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABOEM) or IM/FM with EM Experience
• Licenses: Active Texas medical license (IMLC accepted)
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CSR (if required) for Texas
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS required (ATLS required for non-EM boarded)
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM within 5 years of completion
• Other Qualifications: Case Logs for past 2 years, Stroke CME (4 hrs/yr), Trauma CME (16 hrs/yr), immunizations per policy

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a micro hospital setting.
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) as part of a physician team with NPPA support.
• Manage an average of 65 encounters per day, including urgent and emergent cases.
• Perform bedside ultrasound and conscious sedation as needed.
• Collaborate with subspecialists (Seizures, Respiratory, Gastroenterology) for patient management.
