JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, ABPS, AAPS)
• Licenses: Active unrestricted NC medical license and DEA with NC address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5)
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required if not ABEM boarded; preferred for ABEM
• Experience: Recent graduates accepted
• Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation for past 2 years; Health Status Statement from non-clinician provider

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED and Fast Track.
• Work 24-hour shifts including required night shifts.
• Supervise and collaborate with NP/PA providers (20-24 hours of APP coverage).
• Perform procedures as delineated in the privileges (DOP).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
