JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, AAPS, ABPS)
• Licenses: Active NC medical license, DEA with NC address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NC address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5; CSR if needed per state
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required if not ABEM boarded; preferred for all
• Experience: Recent graduates accepted; residency trained in specialty required
• Other Qualifications: CME documentation, case logs, health status statement, immunizations per facility policy

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
• Manage a variety of acute medical conditions and trauma
• Oversee and collaborate with NP/PA providers
• Perform emergency procedures as per delineation of privileges
• Ensure timely documentation in Cerner EMR; participate in night shifts as required
