• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (or osteopathic counterparts)
• Licenses: Active IA State Medical License, CDS, DEA with IA address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, & PALS required
• Experience: Residency trained in specialty required
• Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, copies of education diplomas, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, immunization records

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED
• Manage trauma cases in Level II trauma center
• Perform necessary emergency procedures (airway management, central lines, etc.)
• Collaborate with hospitalist program for patient admissions and transitions
• Supervise and work alongside NP/PA staff during their coverage hours
