JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (or osteopathic counterparts)
• Licenses: Active IA medical license, CDS, DEA with IA address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, copies of education/training diplomas, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, immunization records (TB/FLU/Hep B/MMR/VARICELLA); must complete in-person EMR training prior to first shift

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED
• Manage trauma and acute medical conditions in a Level II trauma center
• Collaborate with hospitalist and other specialty services for patient management
• Supervise and coordinate with NP/PA support staff during shifts
• Participate in EMR training and maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
