JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in ABEM/ABOEM or ABIM/ABFM with EM experience
• Licenses: Active Texas medical license, DEA, CSR if applicable
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS required
• Experience: Board certified within 5 years of residency/fellowship, or EM experience
• Other Qualifications: CME: 4 hours Stroke CME and 16 hours Trauma CME annually; Case logs for past 2 years; Immunizations: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Covid, annual flu, annual TB

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the micro hospital ED.
• Manage medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies, including resuscitation and stabilization.
• Perform emergency procedures such as bedside ultrasound, conscious sedation, intubation, and central line placement.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, NPPAs, and consulting specialists (Seizures, Respiratory, Gastroenterology).
• Document patient encounters and maintain compliance with regulatory and credentialing requirements.
