JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Licenses: Active Ohio medical license; Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2-5
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5
• Certifications: NRP required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians; EM boarded physicians exempt
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM required
• Other Qualifications: Case logs for previous 2 years; Seasonal influenza vaccine required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
• Supervise and collaborate with NPs and PAs as supervising physician.
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.
• Manage moderate-acuity cases in a 17-bed ED with 25,000 annual visits.
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with strong APP support.
