JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5
• Certifications: NRP required for all; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians (EM boarded physicians exempt)
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine (EM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Family Medicine (FM)
• Other Qualifications: Documentation of case logs for the previous 2 years; Seasonal influenza vaccine required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a moderate-acuity community hospital ED with 17 beds and 25,000 annual visits.
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with strong APP support (22 NP/PA coverage hours daily).
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as required.
• Serve as supervising physician for Physician Assistants.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and APP team to ensure high-quality patient care.
