Position Overview
Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12 hour shifts with Open ICU. One physician will provide coverage with 2 mid-level split support. Annual patient volume is approximately 32,000 with daily patient volume of 90-100 patients. Physicians typically see 18-20 patients in a 12 hour shift.

Emergency Room physician responsibilities including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in a solo coverage model with mid-level support available.
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required and must be certified. North Carolina license or IMLC license required. Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS. Temporary privileges are available.
Organizational Highlights
EMR system: MediTech 6.1. Provider will be housed in hospital owned apartments. Travel costs capped at $500.00.
