Locums Emergency Medicine Physician in Corning, New York - No Admissions, APP Support
Focus entirely on emergency department care with hospitalists handling admissions, round-the-clock APP resources, and multiple monthly scheduling options.
Highlights
- No admitting or rounding duties
- 24 hour APP support
- 6 to 12 shifts per month

Practice & Cases
- Emergency medicine in a Level III trauma setting
- Approximately 35,000 annual ED visits
- Average department volume of approximately 95 patients daily
- Single and double physician coverage depending on shift
Schedule
- Day, mid, and evening shifts available
- Primarily 8 and 10 hour shifts
- Longer shifts may be used during higher-volume periods
- Ongoing monthly coverage
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- ABEM Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required
- Active New York medical license required
- ACLS, ATLS, and DEA required
