Locums | Emergency Medicine | Seaside, OR (OR license required) Why This Role

Assignment Details Start/end: November 2026 - ongoing Schedule: 10-12 shifts/month Shifts: 7am-7pm or 6pm-7am Schedule mix: Must be willing to work both days and nights; approximately half/half with greatest need on nights Coverage type: Regular hourly coverage; no call Volume: Approximately 15 patients/shift Setting: Inpatient Emergency Department; Level IV trauma Support: 7 RNs; 24/7 anesthesia, General Surgery, laboratory, OR response, and Radiology available EMR: Epic Credentialing: Approximately 60 days; temporary privileges available for qualifying clean files Clinical Details Required scope: General Emergency Medicine Must be comfortable with intubation Newborn deliveries may present to the ED Low-volume environment with scheduled physician handoff at shift change Requirements Board certified or board eligible within 3 years of residency ABEM highly preferred; experienced FM or IM-trained Emergency Medicine physicians considered License: active OR license required Active DEA ACLS ATLS BLS PALS NRP highly preferred Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
