### Locums | Emergency Medicine | Seaside, OR (active OR license required) ### Why This Role

  • Temporary privileges available for clean files
  • One to two providers needed ###
Assignment Details Start date: Early November 2026 Duration: Ongoing; no specific end date provided Schedule: Approximately 10–12 shifts per month Day shift: 7am–7pm Night shift: 6pm–7am Must be willing to work a combination of day and night shifts Night coverage represents the majority of the current need Setting: Inpatient emergency department No call Volume: Approximately 15 patients per shift Guaranteed hours: 12 hours per shift Level IV trauma facility EMR: Epic Credentialing: Approximately 60 days Temporary privileges: Available for providers with clean files Interview: Phone interview with the Medical Director ### Requirements Active Oregon medical license Active DEA Board certified or board eligible within three years of residency ABEM certification highly preferred Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians may be considered with extensive Emergency Medicine experience Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications NRP certification highly preferred Must be comfortable performing intubations Clean malpractice, NPDB, licensing, and professional history strongly preferred Providers without a clean file may not be able to begin until December ### Clinical Details General emergency medicine Must perform emergency intubations Newborn deliveries may be received in the emergency department No Labor and Delivery department onsite Seven RNs provide department support 24/7 services include: - Anesthesia - General surgery - Laboratory - Radiology - Operating room response Patients are typically handed off at shift change, with overtime rarely expected
