### Locums | Emergency Medicine | Portage, WI (WI License or IMLC) ### Why This Role

  • Defined Thanksgiving coverage with ongoing 2027 needs
  • Day shifts with no call
  • Approximately 20 patients per shift
  • Strong onsite and telemedicine support
  • Temporary privileges available ###
Assignment Details Initial Coverage: November 25–27, 2026 Future Coverage: Ongoing dates anticipated in 2027 Shift: 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Setting: Emergency Department and Urgent Care Department: 13 beds Shift Volume: Approximately 20 patients Daily Facility Volume: Approximately 40–60 patients per 24 hours Facility: Level IV trauma designation Call: None EMR: Epic Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Temporary Privileges: Available ### Requirements Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician Active Wisconsin license or IMLC eligibility Current ACLS and ATLS Availability for the November 25–27 coverage block Ability to work independently in an Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting ### Clinical Details Evaluate and treat Emergency Department and Urgent Care patients Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and emergency presentations Work with four RNs, two APPs, one MA, and administrative support General Surgery, Orthopedics, Laboratory, Radiology, and Anesthesia support available Collaborative Hospitalist service Telestroke and Tele-ICU resources available Onsite medical helicopter supports transfers No APP supervision, rounding, or teaching responsibilities
