Opportunity:

Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• In-house hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  
• Must hold an active Kentucky medical license and active DEA registration
  
• Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine required
  
• ACLS certification required
  
• Must be proficient in common critical care procedures including airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum
  
• Coverage needed for 8-12 shifts per month
  
• Daily patient volume of 8-14 Medical ICU patients
  
• Provider will serve as sole coverage for the MICU with support from MICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other service lines
