JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABEM preferred)
• Licenses: Active Tennessee medical license required; active DEA with Tennessee address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required; CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) required if applicable
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required (if not ABEM certified)
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Manage 24-hour physician coverage in the emergency department.
• Supervise and collaborate with NPPA staff during shifts.
• Perform emergency procedures as required (e.g., intubation, suturing, etc.).
• Maintain necessary board certifications, licenses, and certifications (ACLS, ATLS, PALS).
