JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABEM/ABIM/ABFM)
• Licenses: Active Tennessee medical license required
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Tennessee address; CDS if required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not ABEM certified)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Supervise and collaborate with NPPA staff during 10 hours of daily advanced practice coverage
• Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and wound management
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the McKesson - Allscripts EMR system
