JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABEM preferred)
• Licenses: Active Tennessee license, Active DEA with Tennessee address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CSR (if required by state)
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not ABEM)
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during overlapping shifts.
• Manage acute medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies.
• Perform emergency procedures as required (e.g., intubation, central line placement, suturing).
• Document patient care in McKesson/Allscripts EMR and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
