**7 PM–7 AM | 26-Bed Open ICU | Level II Trauma Center**
A physician-led regional health system in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a **Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Critical Care Physician** to join its established team as a Nocturnist. This full-time opportunity features dedicated overnight coverage of a **26-bed open ICU within a Level II Trauma Center**. The physician will work alongside experienced critical care nurses and providers while managing a diverse population of high-acuity, critically ill medical patients.

**Clinical Responsibilities**
* Provide overnight care for critically ill patients in the ICU
* Evaluate and manage complex and high-acuity medical conditions
* Perform Critical Care procedures within training and privileges
* Coordinate treatment plans with nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
* Respond to changes in patient condition and provide timely Critical Care interventions
* Facilitate appropriate transitions and handoffs to the daytime Critical Care team
* Practice evidence-based Critical Care Medicine in a highly collaborative environment
* Support quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives

**Qualifications**
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in **Critical Care Medicine**
* Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians and Medical Critical Care physicians encouraged to apply
* Current or eligible Kansas medical license
* Strong clinical judgment in the management of critically ill patients
* Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care
