Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Seeking a locum physician with ongoing availability to cover approximately 6-8 shifts per monthNight shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, likely scheduled consecutively or in blocks
Additional shift times available: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
APC shift coverage available for physicians: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Estimated 20,000 patient visits per year
Hospitalists handle admissions
ER provider code response required
ABEM board certification strongly preferred; new graduates are welcome
Board certification or board eligibility required
AHA certification is required
Providers with pending malpractice claims will not be considered
Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
Support services with 24-hour availability include: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response, and Radiology
Facility receives newborn deliveries in the ED and has a Labor & Delivery department

The emergency department manages a significant patient volume annually and works collaboratively with hospitalists for patient admissions. The facility is equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies and maintains a Labor & Delivery department, with the ED receiving newborn deliveries as needed.
