Emergency Medicine Medical Director Opening Albuquerque, NM
Full Time | Emergency Medicine Leadership
Position Highlights:
- Serve as Facility Medical Director for an established Emergency Medicine team
- Lead clinical operations, department performance, and quality initiatives
- Opportunity to shape scheduling, workflows, and Emergency Department operations
- Practice at a 286-bed Level IV Trauma facility
- 30-bed Emergency Department
- Approximately 35,000 annual Emergency Department visits
- Higher-acuity patient population
- 24 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage daily
- Fast-track area with approximately 12-16 vertical treatment chairs
- Physicians provide support to APCs in the fast track as needed
- Respond to hospital floor codes as needed
- Epic EMR with CLEO AI documentation technology
- Leadership autonomy with clinical and operational support
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM or AOBEM
- Prior physician leadership experience required
- Strong clinical, communication, and team leadership skills
