### Locums | Emergency Medicine Physician | Clinton, NC (NC or IMLC) ### Why This Role

Assignment Details Coverage Dates and Shifts: - November 1: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM - November 7: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM - November 17: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM - November 18: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM - November 24: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM - November 27: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Shift Length: 12 hours Setting: Hospital Emergency Department Coverage Model: One physician with two APPs providing split coverage Physician Volume: Approximately 18–20 patients per shift Department Volume: Approximately 90–100 patients daily; 32,000 annually ED Size: 22 beds ICU: Open Call: None EMR: Meditech 6.1 Credentialing: Approximately 14 days Temporary Privileges: Available ### Requirements Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician Active North Carolina license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification Currently credentialed with North Carolina Medicaid Currently enrolled in PECOS Ability to provide standard solo physician Emergency Department coverage Availability for one or more listed shifts ### Clinical Details Evaluate and treat emergency patients across a broad acuity range Provide standard Emergency Medicine coverage during 12-hour shifts Coordinate care with two APPs providing split coverage Work with 24-hour anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology support Manage patients requiring escalation to the open ICU No newborn deliveries are received in the Emergency Department No APP supervision, resident supervision, or teaching responsibilities
