Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine in Seattle, WA
Summary: Join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team in the heart of Seattle, Washington. Our state-of-the-art facility is actively seeking 2 full-time locum physicians to provide critical coverage in our busy Emergency Department. This opportunity offers flexibility with varied shifts tailored to the facility's needs, allowing you to make a significant impact on patient care in one of America's most vibrant cities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients.
- Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions.
- Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Be available for full-time shifts, with the expectation of covering 2 weeks per month (15 shifts ongoing).
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Eligible.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Clean background and malpractice history.
- Able and willing to work varied shifts as per facility needs.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Washington state medical license (NO IMLC accepted).
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA certifications are required.
