Locum Physician – Emergency Medicine
Position Type: Locum

Shift: Varied shifts: 7a-4p, 11a-8p, 2p-11p, 6p-3a or 10p-7a depending on facility needs
Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed
Position Details: 2 FTE providers needed; full-time ongoing coverage; ideal provider available for approximately 2 weeks per month (15 shifts); provider must be flexible to work varied shifts and some holidays
Patient Population: Mostly medical, low trauma, medium to high acuity; 8-14 patients per day
Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients; work collaboratively with attending physicians; manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions; ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams; participate in quality improvement initiatives

EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: RNs
Days Per Month: Full Time
On-Call/Weekends: Weekend coverage required; no on-call requirements specified
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Eligible – REQUIRED
- WA License – REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC at this time
- Emergency Medicine Fellowship/Residency – REQUIRED
- Clean Background/Malpractice – REQUIRED
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA – REQUIRED
