Shift Options: 12-Hour Shifts | Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) or Day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Coverage Structure: Solo Physician + Dual Mid-Level Support
Credentialing Timeframe: 14 Days (Fast-Track Privileging)
Facility & Clinical Scope
- Department Overview: Open ICU model; annual ED volume of ~32,000 patients (daily volume averaging 90–100 patients).
- Coverage Structure: Solo Emergency Room physician coverage supported by 2 mid-level providers per shift.
- Patient Volume: Expected workload of approximately 18–20 patients per 12-hour shift.
Open Date:
- 11/1 7P-7A
- 11/27 7A-7P
- Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12 hr. shifts.
- Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
- EMR: Meditech 6.1
- Open ICU
- 1 physician with 2 mid-level split coverage.
- Annual patient volume: 32,000
- Daily patient volume: 90-100 patients
- Physicians typically see 18-20 patients in a 12 hour shift.
- Doctor will be housed in hospital owned APTS.
