Locums | Emergency Medicine | Rhinelander, WI (any state license accepted or IMLC) Why This Role

  • No call, 20+ shifts/month available
  • Board certified
  • Northwoods lifestyle — lakes, hiking, skiing, fishing
  • Ongoing need, flexible number of locums — locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details Start/end: Starts 9/28, ongoing; over 20 shifts/month open Schedule: No call; mostly single coverage with some shift overlap; double coverage with two APCs Coverage type: Emergency department Volume: 17-23 patients/shift; ~20% admission rate; 15 beds Setting: Level 4 trauma; may provide coverage at regional Northwoods hospitals (Tomahawk and two critical access sites within 30 minutes); 24/7 anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedics, radiology, OR response Support: 2-4 RNs, 2 PA/NPs, 1 office staff EMR: Epic Credentialing: 60-90 days; temp privileges available Clinical Details Required scope: Emergency medicine Newborn deliveries received in the ED; L&D department on site Requirements Board certified in Emergency Medicine License: any state accepted or IMLC ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
