Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
Emergency Medicine physician coverage at a freestanding emergency department (FSED)6-month duration of need
On-site position with no call responsibilities
Shift times are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
12-bed facility with a census of fewer than 30 patients per day and fewer than 10 daily admissions
Suburban FSED patient population with typical suburban volume and patient mix
Not a trauma center
Support staff includes 2-3 RNs and a radiology technician
One EM physician on staff per shift
All ED procedures required including sedation, intubation, and central lines
Must be ABEM certified or eligible and graduated from an EM residency program
Ability to function in an FSED setting with limited orientation (2-4 hours)
