JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Indiana Medical License (or ability to obtain), Indiana Controlled Substance Registration, DEA with Indiana address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required with Indiana address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• Experience: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency
• Other Qualifications: CME attestation, case logs covering previous two years, current Flu/TB/COVID documentation, malpractice coverage history

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED
• Manage acute and moderate-acuity cases in a community hospital setting
• Perform moderate sedation and other emergency procedures as required
• Maintain cross-credentialing and provide coverage at both Franciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure timely patient evaluation and treatment
