Job description Are you an emergency medicine physician leader looking for your next opportunity? SageWest Health Care - Riverton Campus in Riverton, Wyoming, is seeking a medical director for their emergency department.

Opportunity Overview

  • Level III trauma center
  • Average annual volume: 12,000
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Admit rate: 16%
  • Transfer rate: 8%
  • EMR: MedHost
  • Cover floor codes
Physicians see a variety of cases from trauma to illness and patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Local trauma surgeons provide good support, and the nursing staff is very strong and experienced. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience.
