Job Details:

• Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic and collaborative team
  
• Recently renovated Emergency Department seeing 45,000 patient visits annually
  
• 28-bed ED including bariatric and private rooms
  
• Cerner EMR system in use
  
• 36 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of APP coverage
  
• Friendly and supportive nursing staff
  
• No trauma, no OB/GYN, and low pediatric volume (6%)
  
• Large adult and senior volume with high acuity supported by hospitalist team
  
• Stroke Center with tele-neurology currently being implemented
  
• Independent Contractor status
  
• Shift options include 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  
• New providers will work two 12-hour shifts
  
• Must hold a Florida license and DEA
