Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency MedicineWill consider Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with current Emergency Medicine experience
12-Bed Emergency Department with CT, X-ray, and Lab on site
24-hour physician coverage required with solo coverage
Average census of 30 patients
No APP coverage on site
Ultrasound capabilities available (requires transfer)
Consultants available at main hospital including cardiology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and nephrology
EMR: Meditech
Facility:
This facility is a 65-bed general acute care hospital offering a full range of medical services with the exception of Obstetrics. The facility features a physician-staffed 24-hour emergency department, EEG/EKG capabilities, a GE LightSpeed 16-slice CT scanner, GE Senographe DS Digital Mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, intensive care and coronary care units, nuclear medicine, open MRI, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center.
