EM Physician Opportunity in prestigious North Shore enclave just outside of NYC

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time EM Physician to join our Emergency Department team in Roslyn, NY. We are seeking a permanent EM Physician to join the Catholic Health Services team through Progressive Emergency Physicians and become a part of one of our nation’s leading healthcare organizations. Generous benefits are available to eligible providers, including medical, dental, vision, life and 401(K) match. Emergency Department. The Emergency Department now averages 50,000 patients per year. We have a dedicated Observation Unit and over 50% of patients seen in the department are admitted or observed. We have up to 6 physicians working simultaneously, and average 3 shifts of PA coverage daily. MRI and CT are available 24/7. Extensive ultrasound services and Cardiac CT Angiography are readily available to the E.D. Two dedicated ED ultrasound machines are always available to providers. The hospital serves as a high-level referral center and has advanced procedural capabilities. St. Francis has nearly all medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties readily available, and our 24/7 in-house Critical Care program collaborates actively with the Emergency Department to take extraordinary care of our sickest patients. Our Community, St. Francis Hospital is located 30 minutes away from Manhattan and is easily accessible by train and car. Our Nassau County opportunity offers easy access to Long Island's scenic South Shore beaches that lie on the Atlantic Ocean, and its North Shore faces Long Island Sound, with Connecticut visible in the distance. Long Island is an expansive, densely populated island in southeastern New York State. Along its Atlantic coast are Jones Beach State Park, Fire Island, and Montauk Point State Park. On the east end, the North Fork is home to wineries, and the Hamptons are towns characterized by beautiful homes, trendy restaurants, and antique shops.
