JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with 2 years EM experience
• Licenses: Active Ohio medical license, active DEA
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ATLS required (ABEM providers must document past ATLS; ABFM/ABIM must maintain ATLS)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience for non-EM boarded physicians
• Other Qualifications: Must have 10+ shift availability; complete application package including credentials, references, and past 5 years claims history

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Perform emergency procedures including intubation, central line placement, suturing, and other resuscitative measures.
• Collaborate with specialty backup services (surgery, neuro, cardiology, OBGYN, ortho) for patient management.
• Supervise and work alongside nurse practitioners and physician assistants (NPPAs).
• Document patient encounters in Epic EMR and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
