Emergency Medicine Physician – Rapid City, South Dakota
A new 20-bed community hospital in Rapid City is seeking 5 Emergency Medicine physician for a new hospital
Position Details
- Provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients
- Evaluate and treat trauma, cardiac conditions and other acute illnesses
- Stabilize and coordinate admissions or transfers when necessary
- Work alongside ER APPs, nurses, technicians and inpatient staff
- On-site CT, X-ray, laboratory, pharmacy and diagnostic imaging
- Approximately 10 emergency beds and 10 private inpatient beds
- Modern facility with a dedicated ambulance bay and helipad
- Shift schedule and coverage model to be confirmed
Qualifications
MD or DO with an active or eligible South Dakota license
Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
Current DEA, ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications
ATLS certification and recent emergency-department experience preferred
Comfortable treating patients across all age groups
