Job Details:

• Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to cover the equivalent of 2 FTEs
  
• Must guarantee a minimum of 6-8 shifts per month
  
• Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
  
• Preference for providers open to working at the main hospital as well as affiliated freestanding emergency departments
  
• Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts
  
• State-of-the-art, modern emergency department with complete renovation and expansion completed in March 2022
  
• 18-bed emergency department with an annual volume of 20,000 patients
  
• Physician coverage is 24 hours daily in 12-hour shifts; APP coverage during peak times
  
• ED volume averages approximately 60 patients per day, ranging from the low 50s in summer to up to 70 patients per day January through March
  
• ED provider shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  
• Meditech P-doc EMR and M-Modal Dictation systems in use
  
• AHCA Primary Stroke Center Designation
  
• Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, X-ray, and Ultrasound
  
• Phlebotomy support available in the ED during surges, difficult sticks, or sepsis/stroke alerts
  
• ACLS required
