- Providers without Expanse EMR experience: 3 shadow shifts plus 2-hour EMR training

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
- Emergency Department
Patient Volume:
- 1.8–2.0 patients per hour
Admission Rate:
- 26–30%
Shift Details:
- Typically 10-hour shifts
- Primarily PM coverage needed
Staffing Model:
- 3–4 physicians per shift
- 3 APPs per shift
- Full emergency department support staff
Patient Population:
- Adult patients only (no pediatrics; dedicated pediatric unit available separately)
Support & Technology
EMR Training:
- Expanse EMR system (training required if not previously experienced)
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine – Required
- Minimum 6 months of emergency medicine experience – Required
- Experience in high-volume ED setting – Required
- Ability to complete required shadow shifts and EMR training – Required
