We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity offering sporadic coverage in Q4, followed by an ongoing 5-days-on/5-days-off schedule.
Overview
- Full-time or part-time
- Approximately 2–4 shifts per week
- Nine-hour shifts with a one-hour overlap for transition
- Emergency room sees on average 1-2 patients arrive per hour
- 5 days on / 5 days off rotation
- 1–2 APPs per shift until 4:00 AM; physician works independently from 4:00–7:00 AM
- EMR: Epic
- No call
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
- Minimum 5 years EM experience if not EM trained
