Locums - Sanford, Florida, Emergency Medicine Opening
Start Date: ASAP Assignment Duration: 3 months
Coverage & Shift Details:
- Equivalent of 2 FTEs needed for coverage
- Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Coverage at main hospital campus and affiliated FSEDs in surrounding area
- Preference for providers willing to rotate between main ED and FSED locations
- Main hospital may offer shifts less than 12 hours
- FSEDs require 12-hour shifts
- Site directors will conduct phone interviews with candidates
Facility & Practice Environment:
- Main hospital campus plus affiliated Free-Standing Emergency Departments
- FSEDs provide full emergency services including lab and imaging
- Comprehensive emergency medicine coverage across sites
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) – Required
- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine considered only with 3+ years direct Emergency Medicine experience
- Emergency Medicine residency trained – Required
- ACLS – Required
- PALS – Required
