Job description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Orlando, FL. This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity offering scheduled coverage with no call. Please see below for more information.
Facility Type: Acute Care Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
Beds: 20 private patient care beds with a dedicated trauma room
Trauma Level: Affiliated with a Level II Trauma Center
24/7 physician and APP coverage model
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average of approximately 47 patients per day
Work collaboratively within a team providing around-the-clock physician and APP coverage
Be available to work at affiliated freestanding emergency department locations as needed
Qualifications
Active Florida medical license required; IMLC accepted
ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required at time of submittal
Working Hours
5 shifts per schedule block
Scheduled coverage only; no call required
